Registration is a two-step process. The first step is to submit your abstract by 11:59 PM on March 1 (Beijing Time). We encourage you to submit early. 5. Can I get a formal invitation letter with my name for my institution?
Yes, of course. To request a personalized invitation letter, please email the organizing committee with your full name and affiliation as you would like them to appear. We will be happy to provide this to assist with your institutional approval or funding process.
6. Must the abstract be submitted in English? What if I only have a draft in Chinese?
Yes, abstracts must be submitted in English. If your draft is in Chinese, you are welcome to use translation tools to prepare your English submission. Our review committee is familiar with the social work context in Chinese-speaking regions and will consider both academic and practice-oriented perspectives during evaluation.
7. How will the abstracts be reviewed, and what are the key criteria?
All abstracts undergo anonymous peer review by experts in the field. Key review criteria include: relevance to the conference theme, clarity of content, appropriateness of methodology or theoretical framework, logical rigor, and potential contribution to social work education, practice, research, or policy. We value both scholarly innovation and practical insights.
8. When will I be notified if my abstract is accepted?
We will review submissions promptly after each deadline. All final acceptance decisions will be communicated by April 15. You will receive an email notification with the outcome and any necessary feedback.
9. Do on-site presentations have to be in English? Is Chinese an option?
While abstracts must be in English and English is the primary language of the conference, we will provide simultaneous interpretation for keynote sessions.
